This Toyota TEQ badge is made to fit on aftermarket Toyota Grille's as well as the stock TRD Pro grille for the Tacoma. Without modification it will not work on the standard stock Tacoma grille that comes on most model.

The Toyota TEQ logo comes from the Japanese Katakana form of writing. It is the symbols used to spell "Toyota" and is made up of 3 symbols meaning "To" "Yo" and "Ta". A native english speaker will look at this and think the letters are "TEQ" when they are actually symbols representing the brand name of the automaker.

Fun Fact About the TEQ Logo

The original name and Katakana symbol spelled the last name of the founder Sakichi Toyoda. The symbol was later changed to mean Toyota because the symbol for "Ta" required less brush strokes than the symbol for "Da". You can find out more about the history of the TEQ logo here.
